Before You Apply
You can use this form to apply for or renew an older person’s bus pass or a disabled person’s bus pass.
You'll need to log in or register for an account to apply for or renew a bus pass. If you already have a pass from North Yorkshire Council, please note that we've updated our systems, and you may need to register again.
Please have the following ready:
- A valid email address
- Your home postcode
- A recent digital passport-style photo that clearly shows your full face. This can be a self-taken photo or any other suitable digital photo.
- For a disabled person’s bus pass, supporting digital evidence of your disability, proof of age, and proof of address. See details of the eligibility criteria and evidence required here.
The simplest way to get a paper document onto a device is to take a digital photo of it. You may find it easier to complete this form on a device that takes digital photos, such as a smart phone or tablet.
We use a partner company to verify your identity for older person’s bus passes, so please ensure you enter your legal name when prompted.
